What parents should know

Knights of Guinevere looks like a princess cartoon — a glittering theme park, a fairy-tale narrator, cute merchandise — and that is the point: the show uses the look to talk about abuse, exploitation and corporate control. Kids who know GLITCH from The Amazing Digital Circus may want to watch, so it helps to know it is considerably more violent.

Good conversation starters for older teens: why the park looks so happy while the people below are poor and sick; whether Frankie is right to trust Gwen; and why Andi, an engineer, is the one who insists Gwen could be dangerous.

If you want to preview, the pilot recap and Episode 2 recap describe every major scene.
